State Tournament

The team portion of the state tournament continued into today at Baseline Tennis Center at the University of Minnesota. The state champs in 2A were Rochester Mayo High school, while in 1A, the Breck Mustangs took 1st place. This was really no surprise on both sides of the equation, as both teams had exceptional players. Eastview High school took 7th place in the state, which was really good for the first time in school history. Eastview had a very good season, and making the state tournament was a great experience for everyone on the team. The team graduated 7 seniors, so this year was definately a year to remember for many.
