I frequently go to Lake Calhoun when it is warm outside because there are simply endless activites around the area. With uptown close by, and countless miles of bike trails, this is some place you have to go if you love Minnesota in the summer time. I personally have 3 kayaks, which I take out on the lake in the summer time with friends, which is a lot of fun. I also bike around the lakes, run, or just chill at local cafes and diners. The area around Lake Calhoun is very nice, and is a place I highly recommend visiting this summer!
